Dr. Meyer retired from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer. That career shaped how he works: directly, without unnecessary ceremony, and with an understanding of institutional life that clients from the military, first-responder, and corporate worlds tend to recognize immediately. He trained in rehabilitation counseling at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, completed a doctorate in psychology at Walden University, and has practiced in community mental health, on-site employee assistance programs, and private practice. He holds certification as a Certified Vocational Evaluator, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and Certified Employee Assistance Professional.

Before entering the mental health field, Dr. Meyer served with distinction as a senior non-commissioned officer in the United States Air Force. Following his retirement, he transitioned to clinical work across a variety of behavioral health settings, including community mental health and on-site employee assistance programs.

Dr. Meyer’s clinical interests include supporting adults with disability-related challenges, addressing the mental health needs of sexual and gender minority clients (LGBTQ+), and helping individuals overcome the often debilitating symptoms of anxiety and depression. His dedication to promoting mental wellness, independence, and empowerment continues to shape his work, allowing him to help clients achieve personal growth and professional fulfillment.
